Dear Members,

Every season for the last 5-6 years, the Recreational Committee has had to address a relatively large number of late registrations. While our focus is to roster every child that possesses a desire to play soccer, processing those registrations and ordering uniforms in a timely manner adds a great deal of effort for the Committee.

In light of that dilemma, the Board of Directors would like to reach out to our membership to better understand:
 

1. How you learned about our Open Registration for the Fall
2. What method you feel would provide you with a better reminder for the Open Registration announcements.

In addition to these two selections, you will also have the opportunity to provide us with some feedback on the registration process so that we can further improve the user experience.

The survey will look very similar to a registration, so just select the name of the parent who submitted the Fall Registration and select “Submit” for the parent information form. You will automatically be taken to the start of the survey:

Welcome to the Registration for ADULT (18 & Older) Referees. Please review the text that follows to ensure that your registration is processed in a timely manner.

This registration allows those adults who are certified referees to enter their contact information into the OPSC database. 

This registration does not require a Social Security Number to be submitted, however depending on the amount you are paid on an annual basis, this number may be required at a later date. If this number is required, you will be contacted by the Treasurer of the OPSC.

Welcome to the Registration for MINOR (UNDER  18 YEAR OLD) Referees. Please review the text that follows to ensure that your registration is processed in a timely manner.

This registration allow those individuals who are certified referees to enter their contact information into the OPSC database. 

A CURRENT / VALID work permit must be on file with the OPSC BEFORE you will be assigned to referee a game. Please note that work permits are valid for ONLY one year from the date of the work permit. Work permits can be obtained through the Guidance office at local High Schools.

If you do not have a Work Permit at the time of registration, you will need to mail a copy to the following address:

Please e-mail referees@orlandparksc.org with any questions regarding work permits.  If your work permit does expire, any game refereed after the expiration date will be eligible for community service hours only.
